Girona filmfest to screen Iranian ‘The Rotation’

Iranian short animation ‘The Rotation’ is set to go on screen at the Girona Film Festival in Spain.

The short animation, directed by Hazhir Asadi, will join the competition program at the 32nd edition of the Spanish event.

The new animation will also be screened at nine other film festivals in the US, Greece, South Korea and Colombia.

Asadi’s previous successful film ‘Blows with the Wind’ competed at many global events and won several awards and nominations.

The Girona Film Festival aims to give room to emerging filmmaking talents to flourish. The event will host around 400 films, including features, shorts, documentaries and animations.

This year’s edition of the Spanish event is slated for September 29-October 3.
